It runs on free core software with fair, low commission rather than a per-seat subscription.

No. The whole point of the modular engine is that you start with the one painkiller you need — usually Grow (reviews + a profile that ranks) or Pay (deposits that kill no-shows) — and switch on Book, Reception and Connect as you grow. Every module reads the same client record, so each one you add makes the others work better, but you only run what you need.

Core software is free — no per-seat subscription. We charge a 15% one-time commission (10% for founding members) only on genuinely platform-sourced new clients, 0% on repeat clients forever, and we never bill you for clients you sourced yourself. Fresha introduced mandatory per-seat fees in 2025 on top of ~20% commission; StyleSeat charges up to ~30% including on existing clients; Booksy and Vagaro are per-seat subscriptions. The #1 complaint about incumbents is commission attribution — being billed a 'new client' fee for your own customers — which we structurally avoid.
