Peak Skin for Business is one operating system for derm clinics, medspas and aesthetic and beauty businesses, organised into five modules you turn on as you need them: Grow (verified reviews, AEO/SEO profile, recall), Pay (deposits, checkout, memberships, payouts), Book (online scheduling, team roles, multi-site), Reception (AI voice and text front desk) and Connect (ambient voice charting, AI knowledge assistant, team messaging and supply routing). It runs on free core software with fair, low commission rather than a per-seat subscription.

No. The whole point of the modular engine is that you start with the one painkiller you need — usually Grow (reviews + a profile that ranks) or Pay (deposits that kill no-shows) — and switch on Book, Reception and Connect as you grow. Every module reads the same client record, so each one you add makes the others work better, but you only run what you need.

Core software is free — no per-seat subscription. We charge a 15% one-time commission (10% for founding members) only on genuinely platform-sourced new clients, 0% on repeat clients forever, and we never bill you for clients you sourced yourself. Fresha introduced mandatory per-seat fees in 2025 on top of ~20% commission; StyleSeat charges up to ~30% including on existing clients; Booksy and Vagaro are per-seat subscriptions. The #1 complaint about incumbents is commission attribution — being billed a 'new client' fee for your own customers — which we structurally avoid.

Doctify sells one thing — review management — as an opaque, sales-led contract often costing thousands a year. Grow gives you verified, treatment-level reviews and a profile optimised to rank in Google and AI search (ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Overviews) as part of the same engine that books and bills the client. The review, the booking, the deposit and the recall all live on one client record, so reputation actually feeds revenue instead of sitting in a separate tool.

Fresha's AI concierge is essentially a chatbot that answers customer queries and captures bookings. Peak Skin's AI cofounder is a business growth partner that reads across every module — bookings, revenue, retention, capacity — to plan recall and rebooking campaigns, surface revenue opportunities, advise on hiring, and act on front- and back-office tasks. It's positioned as a cofounder, not a bolt-on chatbot.

Ambient voice charting, part of the Connect module via Peak Skin Connect, listens during a consultation and drafts structured notes, summaries and documentation hands-free, so practitioners spend less time on paperwork. It's the same scribe technology built for dermatology, extended to aesthetic and medical clinics — and no booking incumbent offers it.

The Pay module runs on Stripe Connect, so funds settle directly to the clinic. You can require a deposit or full upfront payment at booking, save a card on file, run memberships and packages, and automatically charge no-show or late-cancellation fees per your policy — the proven lever for reducing no-shows and protecting revenue on high-ticket treatments.

Yes. You can claim your existing clinic listing (Airbnb-style) and bring your services, team and clients across. Because we never charge commission on repeat clients and never bill you for self-sourced clients, moving your book of business to Peak Skin doesn't create new fees on relationships you already own.

Yes. Peak Skin was built by dermatologists. Derm clinics get the clinical strengths of the Connect module — secure collaboration, image review, evidence and ambient voice charting — alongside Book, Pay and Grow, so the commercial and clinical sides finally share one system. Payments is off by default for derm and opt-in, since many derm clinics bill separately.
